Embedding an Institution - Michael Corcoran
Unfolding the streetscape, the public square flows into a landscape project. Slipping between the built and unbuilt, cemetary and park become village gardens experienced through ground surface and insterstitial courts, the old is seen from a new vantage point. The library makes the border of the village and park, but as an internalised place. Light articulates what is within, viewsheds offer only a glimpse of the outside world
